Jofra Archer Loses World Cup 2019 Medal After Shifting His House

It Was The Major Triumph In The 50-Over Mega Event:

It was one of the most exciting conclusions in the history of cricket. The finals of the 2019 World Cup always thrills cricket fans, and it was one England  cricketer had made it out in the hardest moments, Jofra Archer.

Jofra Archer has performed  the granted task of performing in the super over and he did not let New Zealand go beyond the score for England. It was the big victory for the home side in the 50-over mega event, and nobody should want to forget the moment.

Yet after winning the game, Jofra Archer frets about the award he’s got. The pace bowler recently relocated to a new house and is not considering the 2019 World Cup winners’ medal in the process. These souvenirs are close to the players’ hearts and it would have been a special thing for Archer too because he made his international debut just before the match.

I Have Gone Mad Looking For It– Jofra Archer

The 25-year-old, speaking to media shared his disappointment at not having the award despite moving into the new home. Perhaps the cricketer has been looking for it for more than a week now and will keep checking before he finds out.

“I have a painting that someone had created for me and presented me, I have a medal hanging on it. I changed flat and there was an image on the new wall so there was no award.

I completely searched my house for almost a week but I still couldn’t find anything. I know it’s going to be in the house so I’m trying to hold my eyes open for it because I’ve always gone nuts to look for it.” said Jofra Archer.

He also confirmed that he lost much of the time looking for his medal after the compulsory quarantine of CoronavirusCoronavirus in the UK. Like others, though, Archer also has nothing else to do throughout the days of quarantine.

Isolated, there is nothing left to do. It’s all hands on deck,’ said the pace bowler. Despite cricket postponed in England until July 1 the lengthy wait for him and the cricket team begins.
