Janata Curfew : India Joined Together Even While Staying At Home

Sunday’s cricket hero Sachin Tendulkar thanked all Indians for coming together as a country for Janata Curfew, even while sitting at home and supporting the people, who are working continuously in the critical situation to battle Covid-19. “And though remaining in our houses, India came together today. When we are at home, some selflessly conduct their roles”.

The Discipline And Commitment We Showed Today Needs To Continue Janata Curfew:

“Thank you all for bringing us in front of you. We have to maintain the consistency and dedication we have seen today,” Tendulkar said in a tweet. The legendary 46-year-old posted a video that said the same thing, accompanied by clapping hands.

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged, the entire country on Sunday cheered the fraternity of medical and other critical services for suppressing coronavirus by clapping, ringing bells and blowing conch shells for 5 minutes at 5 pm. Thousands of residents residing in high-rise buildings throughout the city have come out of their flats and stood on balconies, clamoring and cheering for their yeomen contribution to the Covid-hit by the unidentified physicians, nurses and health workers.

The Indian sporting community has supported the national campaign, including Star Wrestler Bajrang Punia, former Indian cricket captain and mentor Anil Kumble, celebrity weightlifter Mirabai Chanu, and sprinter Hima Das.
