Former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan is all set to debut in a major role in the forthcoming Tamil film of Vikram. Titled tentatively “Vikram 58”, Ajay Gnanamuthu will direct the movie, which will be produced by Seven Screen Studio of Lalith Kumar.
According to a press release, the film, which will be shot in various Indian locations and different countries, will begin its principal photography. AR Rahman will score the music and Sivakumar Vijayan will be its cinematographer. Vikram will work with Ajay Gnanamuthu, who is renowned for Demonte Colony and Imaikka Nodigal.
The film’s co-producer Seven Screen Studio tweeted: “Proud and honoured to introduce @IrfanPathan in #ChiyaanVikram58 in a super stylish action avatar!! Welcome on Board sir and wish you a sensational debut.”

In his tweet, Gnanamuthu said, “Welcome on board @IrfanPathan Can’t wait to unleash your new avatar to the audience!! Time for some solid action!!.”
