IPL 2022 Complete Schedule
The Indian Premier League (IPL) 15th season will begin on March 26. It will be a two-month event, where ten teams will compete for the prestigious TATA IPL Trophy, with the finale slated to take place on May 29. The BCCI revealed the calendar for the much-anticipated event with barely 3 weeks to go, and the reigning champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will confront the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the opening of the mega event. This year’s games are scheduled in a revised format, with the BCCI abandoning the former pattern of each team that is playing the other twice in the league phase. Depending on the number of league titles and playoffs contested, the ten sides are split into two groups, A and B.
As a result, Group A is made up of the Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, and newcomers Lucknow Super Giants. Group B includes the Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, and newcomer Gujarat Titans.
🚨 NEWS 🚨: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the schedule for #TATAIPL 2022 which will be held in Mumbai and Pune.
A total number of 70 league matches and 4 Playoff games will be played in the duration of 65 days.

As previously announced, all IPL 2022 league games will be played at 4 venues: 3 in Mumbai and one in Pune. Wankhede and DY Patil Stadiums each will stage 20 fixtures, whereas Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai and MCA Stadium in Pune each will feature 15 fixtures.
According to the scheduling, the 1st double-header of the tournament will be held on March 27. This year, there’ll be a lot more double-headers, since the number of games has increased due to the arrival of 2 additional sides. The Maharashtra government has agreed to permit 25% of the crowd for all league games during the IPL. The location of the playoffs has yet to be determined. The IPL 2022 playoff format has yet to be revealed.
