IPL 2020, SRH vs CSK: Vibrant Reaction of Dhoni Change The Decision Of Umpire

After getting a reaction from  Dhoni, the umpire changed his decision:

On 14th October 2020 (Tuesday), Chennai Super Kings (CSK) registered a 20-runs victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League at the Dubai International Stadium. In the match, CSK posted 167 runs with the loss of six wickets.

While chasing, despite a fantastic fifty from Kane Williamson, SRH couldn’t reach the target and fell 20 runs short of the target. In the innings of SRH, the animated reaction of CSK captain MS Dhoni to umpire Paul Reiffel from behind the stumps to change his decision of giving wide ball midway.

In the over of Shardul Thakur, he bowled a wide Yorker to Rashid Khan and the umpire was about to give wide but then MS Dhoni gave an animated reaction to Paul Reiffel which change his mind and stop his wide ball decision.

David Warner, the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad didn’t seem too pleased with the decision.

Match Overview:

In the 29th match, MS Dhoni won the toss and chose to bat first. As an opener, sam Curran knocked 31 runs in 21 deliveries to give his team a good start.

Shane Watson scored the highest with 42 runs while Ambati Rayudu made 41 off 34.

Late innings of Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni-led CSK to 167 runs for eight.

In the fourth over of the chase, SRH lost their captain, David Warner as Sam Curran dismissed him with a simple catch and clean bowled.

Manish Pandey also miscalculated a run and sent back to the pavilion by Dwayne Bravo.
