According to the annual Google Year in Search 2020 list, the keyword IPL is the most-searched word in India on Google for the year 2020. Coronavirus, US elections are next in the list after the abbreviation of India’s biggest cricketing league.

The success of the Indian Premier League 2020 can be directly related to the lockdown implied by various states in India.
