Suryakumar Yadav And Hardik Pandya Were Dismissed In Quick Succession:
Mumbai Indians (MI) batsmen Quinton de Kock and Suryakumar Yadav scored half a century before being dismissed, with the side delivering a target of 163 runs at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Sunday in the 27th match of IPL 2020 against Delhi Capitals (DC).
Early on, MI lost skipper Rohit Sharma, with Ishan Kishan at the crease alongside Kieron Pollard. In order to support his side post a total of 162/4, DC batsman Shikhar Dhawan earlier scored 69 runs off 52 deliveries. Dhawan’s innings comprised of six boundaries and a six, with skipper Shreyas Iyer providing the opener with quality support. A 33-ball 42 scored Iyer, touching five boundaries.
The remainder of the batsmen did not make much of an impression. The pick of the bowlers, accounting for two wickets, was MI all-rounder Krunal Pandya. One dismissal was further terminated by New Zealand pacer Trent Boult.
