IND vs NAM : India dropped out of the T20 World Cup 2021 with a dominant 9 wicket victory against Namibia, providing a joyful conclusion for Virat Kohli, who played his final match as T20I captain, as well as Ravi Shastri, R Sridhar, and Bharat Arun, all of whose tenures as India coaches came to an end.
The Indian side is going to experience a coaching change, and Kohli, who captained India to record 30th win in his 50th T20I as captain, would next enter the field in the shortest format perhaps as a batsman.
IND vs NAM : Namibia got off to a good beginning following Kohli won the toss and field and inserted them, with the openers – Stephen Baard and Michael van Lingen – contributing 33. Namibia also got a boost at the finish, when India surrendered 37 in the final 4 overs.
The outstanding spin combination of India, though, brings back so many memories of the past by scooping up the rivals with all their cleverness and while the middle overs split between a strong start and a little of late momentum.

Van Lingen scored 14 on the powerplay after finding mid-off against Jasprit Bumrah. From then on, it was all Ashwin-Jadeja; who took six wickets for 36 runs and bowled 24 balls in their 8 overs collectively.
Within the powerplay, Jadeja had Craig Williams trapped for a four-ball duck before emerging in his next at bat to trap Baard leg before with an underarm ball, which the batter reviewed but did not acknowledge.
Ashwin was at his most creative, putting out his multiple variations. He knocked in his 2nd over, bagging Nicol Loftie-Eaton with a tossed-up delivery that was scooped up by Rohit Sharma at the first slip. Namibia were 47/4 at the moment, and then was partially overcome, but they never really got momentum enough to challenge for an impressive total.
Ashwin grabbed his 3rd when he cleared away for the lefty Zane Green, for displaying 3/20, whereas Erasmus edged Ashwin behind while attempting to cut a delivery that’s too near to be edged. In the meanwhile, Jadeja (3/16) secured his 3rd in JJ Smit, helped by a fantastic cover clearance by a forward-diving Rohit. Namibia’s captain David Wiese, who scored 26 runs before surrendering to Bumrah with a slower ball reaching Rohit, just couldn’t do anything else.
