IND vs ENG 3rd Test: Highlights

English skipper Joe Root won the toss and elected to bat first. The pitch in the Narendra Modi stadium was as confusing as it gets. Axar Patel dismantled the English batting line-up with his spell of 38 runs for 6. Premier all-rounder Ravichandra Ashwin also bagged three wickets in the first innings.

The visitors got knocked out for just 112 runs. At the time of writing the article, India are 99 for 3 in their first innings. Rohit Sharma (52) and Ajinkya Rahane (1) will open the innings for India on Day 2 of the pink-ball Test between India and England.
