After a month of former England captain, Michael Vaughan joked about a video doing the rounds on social media where a kid is seen playing proper cricketing shots. Kevin Pietersen picked up on it and asked the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli to get that kid into his team.
Kohli Responds To Pietersen On Diaper Wearing Child:
“Include him in your squad, Virat Kohli. Can you pick him?!?!” Pietersen got it posted on Instagram with the video, his tongue firmly in cheek. The Indian captain replied back to his tweet: “Verified Where is he from??? He is unreal.”
The South Africa captain Faf du Plessis told: “No ways that are insane.”
The Fox Cricket has posted a video on Twitter last month only where a kid, still in his diapers, is seen playing some of the most magnificent cover drives in textbook fashion.
That video, which went viral, sees the child practicing indoors and displaying a wide range of drives on the front foot as the ball is thrown at him.
“Surely he has an English cat or dog…” Vaughan had written while posting the video.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli added another feather to his already bright cap on Wednesday. After being chosen to bat first in the 3rd T20I against West Indies team, Kohli came out to the middle following the fall of the vice-captain, Rohit Sharma in the 12th over. The right-handed cricketer just needed six runs to reach 1,000 runs at home in the shortest format match. He achieved the milestone in the 14th over with a six off Hayden Walsh.
In doing so, team Indian skipper Kohli became the first Indian player to reach the milestone. The only two other cricketers, who have done so are New Zealand’s player, Martin Guptill (1430) and Colin Munro (1000).
