England will host Pakistan for three Tests and three T20 Internationals:
On Monday (06-07-2020), cricket chiefs of England confirmed the venues as well as dates for the three-Test tour of the Pakistan team. The Test series is starting on 5th August at Old Trafford.
On Wednesday International Cricket resumes after 3 months of long coronavirus lockdown when in Southampton, the England team plays their first Test match among the three Test matches against the team of West Indies at the Ageas Bowl. The remaining two test matches will be held at Old Trafford, Manchester.
The first Test match with Pakistan will be held at Old Trafford and the other two test matches will be held at the Ageas Bowl. The second Test match will begin on 13th August and the third one will start on 21st August. Both the venues, Ageas Bowl and the Old Trafford are considered bio-secure environment with hotels on site.
On August 28, 30, and 1st September, three T20 matches will be held at Old Trafford between Pakistan and England. On 30th July, 1st August and 4th August, at the Ageas Bowl, Ireland will play three One Day International matches.

Tom Harrison, chief executive of ECB said: “Having confirmation on these games against the team of Pakistan and Ireland is another significant step for cricket as we start to safely host international cricket again, and also to diminish the effect of the coronavirus pandemic, we will try our best to stage cricket at all levels”.
He said, “It has taken many efforts and skills to take permission to reach a spot where cricket is now ready and capable enough to return to the ground of play from the influential level to entertaining cricket.”
