Is Dhoni’s Retirement Imminent?
Dhoni, who has been away from playing cricket for India for the past eight and half months last played the game against New Zealand in semifinals of last year’s world cup where India lost.
He was supposed to make a comeback to cricket in IPL leading the Chennai Super Kings, but it has delayed, as the mega event was postponed to April 15th from March 29th due to coronavirus breakout.
There have been speculations that Dhoni might retire from international cricket soon as many feel that he might not get selected for the T20 world cup that is scheduled to be held from October 18th this year in Australia.
