IPL 2020 may be called off because of the lockdown in the whole country
After the government of India declared a nationwide lockdown for three weeks, it has a high probability of canceling the 13th season of the Indian Premier League.
Ness Wadia, co-owner of Kings XI Punjab has asked the BCCI to consider canceling the Indian Premier League because according to him, now all we have to act with much greater responsibility. Now thinking about IPL is just inhumane.
Ness Wadia was quoted “The Board of Cricket Council of India ( BCCI) should consider delaying the IPL. We have to act with much greater responsibility. Right now, thinking about IPL is inhumane. In case the condition improves by the month of May and I hope it does the same, which player is going to come and play? Will the overseas players be even permitted to enter the country?”
