Cricket Australia Declared Fixtures For 2020-21 Summer

Cricket Australia has declared their fixtures for the summer of 2020-21 as Australia recovered speedily from the coronavirus pandemic. In a detailed schedule, involving men and women fixtures lays the trademark Border-Gavaskar series with Virat Kohli & co. taking on the number 1 Test team Australia in four Test matches.

But the CEO of Cricket Australia, Kevin Roberts said that the schedule can be changed and flexible on the basis of constantly changing the situation of COVID-19 and the rules & regulations of the government at the time.

According to the report, the four-Test series will start on 3rd December at the Gabba, which has been preferred to host the Test series in the Perth Stadium.

Cricket Australia also has declared an ODI series in August against Zimbabwe. But there is no clear description of venues hosting the first two ODI games as yet. All can be confirmed after discussion with the relevant stakeholders.

A three-match Twenty20I series on 4th-9th October against West Indies and from 26th January to 2nd February, a week-long limited-overs series against New Zealand- the series against India is scheduled.
