Come Back Of Andre Russell To The West Indies Team
Andre Russell who is a right-hand batsman of the West Indies team is widely regarded as one of the greatest T20 players of all time. He is an all-rounder player who has played numerous international games for his team.
Russell has played more than 300 T20 games in his career however in recent days he has not been playing for a long time in the national T20I set-up. But now finally, he will play his first T20I in the Sri Lanka tour, since August 2018.
Inclusion Of Other Major Players In The Team
The right-arm fast bowler of West Indies, Oshane Thomas has also made a come back to the team after completely recovering from the injuries that he got from a car accident, which he encountered recently.
Now his addition to the team will add a new element in the bowling attack as the player has absolute fast-bowling skills and deep clarity of the game.
The popular player of West Indies, Shimron Hetmyer who was excluded for ODI selection has now able to meet the required fitness level. And he has made himself available for team selection for the T20I series.
His inclusion in the team will give a sharp margin to score big in the tournament. The first T20I will be held on March 4 at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium and the second one will be played on March 6 at the same venue.
Fabian Allen And Shai Hope are Returning For T20I
Fabian Allen and Shai Hope are the other two players who missed the most recent T20I series because of injuries, now they are also going to make a come back in the team.
The entry of Shai Hope will give major options to West Indies. The wicket-keeper-batsman offers a great deal of attack apart from keeping the wickets, and Fabian Allen’s inclusion will be another useful option for spin bowling besides adding depth to the batting unit.
