In the ongoing ninth season of the Big Bash League(BBL), during the 38th match featuring Melbourne Stars and Perth Scorchers in Perth, team Melbourne Stars, the seam bowler Daniel Worrall grabbed a spectacular catch to dismiss the captain of Perth Scorchers, Mitchell Marsh. To dismiss the home captain, the Stars’ seamer put on an inspiring fielding display at the point position.
On the third delivery of the eighth over, it all happened when Marsh at a point, hit a Jackson Coleman delivery towards Worrall. It appeared as if it would go over the fielder in the first go but it was caught by Worrall who managed to time his dive to his right on the 30-yard circle. Worrall, who moved to his right, did try to exaggerate his attempt but only after ensuring that he completed the dismissal.
It was a good catch, but did Franky Worrall try and make that look even better than it was? 😏 #BBL09 pic.twitter.com/YkX2YzH6Q9

In the fourth over, coming in to bat at No. 4, Marsh ended up scoring 7 runs out of 8 balls and became a part of the batting collapse forced by the visiting bowlers at the Perth Stadium. The decision of Marsh to win the toss and chose to bat didn’t go down well as Stars bowled bundled out Scorchers for 86 in 13.5 overs. Perth opening batsman Josh Inglis was its best batsman, scoring 37 runs off 19 balls with the help of four fours and two sixes.
Coleman was the pick of the Melbourne bowlers in the match with bowling figures of 3-0-16-3. Sandeep Lamichhane, the Melbourne Stars spinner, dismissed two batsmen. captain Glenn Maxwell, the fast bowler Nathan Coulter-Nile and Haris Rauf dismissed a batsman each, respectively.
