The 1st Test between Australia and Pakistan took place at Gabba, Brisbane. After a brilliant start on Day 1, Australia gave a tough fight to the Pakistan players. Finally, Australia won on the 4th day by defeating Pakistan by innings and 5 runs while Australia maintained their unbeaten record at the Gabba. Marnus Labuschagne, who played a key role in the innings scored 185, was the man of the match, which saw Australia scoring 580 runs in 157.4 overs while Pakistan scored 240 in 86.2 overs and 335 in 84.2 overs.
