India propelled against the Australians in the T20I series, clinching the shortest format of the game 2-1. Australians, however, tasted victory in the ODI series defeating India 2-1 in the 50-50 overs format of the game. Indian pacer T. Natarajan created headlines on his T20I debut with his stunning display of class against the Aussies. T. Natarajan, who made his T20I international debut against the Australians, ended the series as the highest wicket-taker with a total of 6 wickets to his name in three games.

Natarajan’s IPL skipper David Warner was very pleased with the speedster’s business as the Australian opener penned a post while appreciating the 28-year-old Indian. David Warner was excluded from Australia’s T20 squad due to an injury he picked up in the second ODI against India. Though, the Australians went on to lose the T20I series but the 34-year-old southpaw was pleased to watch Natarajan’a breakthrough performance in his maiden series.

David Warner is likely to miss the 1st Test against the Australians citing his groin injury the issue behind it. David Warner is optimistic about getting back in the Australian squad as soon as possible to face the “Men in Blue” in red ball cricket. India will start their four-match Test series against Australia on December 17.
