Selectors are expected to rest Virat Kohli for the forthcoming South Africa T20I series and Ireland visit, citing the former India captain’s difficulties with the bat. Virat Kohli will next be seen in Indian colors on the England trip in July, according to the InsideSport news website.

However, the selectors have already decided to rest a few top players for the T20 series against South Africa, including Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Jasprit Bumrah.
Virat will be questioned by the selectors about his performance as well as his future ambitions. A group of BCCI officials is preparing to urge Kohli to abandon one format and concentrate on the other two, including Test cricket, which is also a priority for the former Indian captain.
