10 Overs Update: SL vs IRE
Sri Lanka vs Ireland:After winning the toss Ireland started off in a decent fashion, on the other hand, Sri Lanka tried to stop the attack of the Ireland batsmen, 2-3 wickets in the next five overs could make things difficult for the Ireland side. Sri Lanka needs to maintain their composure and pick up wickets to restrict Ireland for a decent total.
At the end of 10 overs of the 15th match of the T20 World Cup 2022, Ireland’s total is 60/4. In the last 5 overs, Ireland managed to score 36 runs by 3 losing wickets.
During the Power Play overs, Stirling and skipper Balbirnie did not utilize the opportunity, conceding just 40 runs. The power play restrictions helped/didn’t help the team to add runs on the scoreboard.
Binura Fernando bowled a tough first over of the innings where the Ireland batsmen struggled very hard to score and only managed to score 2 runs from the first over.
Karunaratne bowled the 6th over of the innings and kept things loose, conceding 14 runs from the over. The 8th over of the innings was bowled by Karunaratne who made a good comeback, conceding just 4 runs from the over.
7 runs came off the 9th over of the innings bowled by Dhananjaya where he kept things tight and picked up a wicket. Karunaratne bowled the 10th over of the innings, conceding just 3 runs from the over.
