The couple is set to host a grand reception in Delhi at ITC Maurya Hotel. The event is expected to host many celebrities from the Cricket arena.

Deepak Chahar proposed to Jaya Bhardwaj after the final match of Super Kings Chennai in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 against Punjab Kings. He surprised her by asking questions in the stands after the game.
After being sold for 15.5 crores in IPL 2022 Mega Auction to Chennai Super Kings,the all-rounder could not join the squad due to injury. His presence was highly missed by Chennai Super Kings as they ended their IPL 2022 stint situated at the 9th spot on the points table.
While Deepak is recovering from the injury, he has not been selected in 15 member squad for the bilateral series against South Africa which is set to start on June 9th.
