Danille Wyatt, however, left the crease after scoring 15 in 11 balls. But a 126-run partnership between Georgia Redmayne and Grace Harris set the tone for the side for a good total.
Harris played a knock of 74 in just 54. Her knock included nine fours and a six.
With 154 on board and two overs still to go, the Heat was all set for a massive total but departure of both the set batters gave a dent to that hopes.
Belinda Vakarewa, who bagged the first wicket removed the set par, and with that effect, the Brisbane Heat only managed to put 163 on board in 20 overs in a BH-W Vs ST-W WBBL match.
Georgia Redmayne, who scored 64 in 46 is also the highest run-scorer in the tournament. She has scored 289 runs in 8 matches so far in the competition at a decent strike rate of 114.68

In reply, Courtney Sippel gave a big shock to the Thunders by removing Tammy Beaumont on the very first ball of the over.
Phoebe Litchfield and Sammy-Jo Johnson then steadied the ship for the Thunders and recorded 70 for the second wicket in 54 balls.
Litchfield, who was playing good was unfortunately run-out and had to leave the crease with a knock of 39 off 22. Her knock, however, was crucial in a 164-run chase process.
The skipper Rachael Haynes then joined the crease with Johnson, but their partnership was not stayed for long as Amelia Kerr bowled her for 41.
With 37 required in last 24 balls, the Thunders lost yet another wicket in the process. The good thing for that was their skipper Haynes was still there at the middle.
But following of wickets from the other end kept on building the pressure, and in that pressure Haynes too lost her wicket. She left the middle with Thunder still needed 22 off 9 balls and the remaining batters didn’t manage to achieve that and lost the game by 14 runs.
