WI vs BAN 2nd ODI: Bangladesh Defeats West Indies By 9 Wickets To Win The ODI Series

WI vs BAN 2nd ODI: West Indies lost the second ODI, but Bangladesh won to win the series. The ODI series between Bangladesh and the West Indies was successfully concluded. Bangladesh easily prevailed by 9 wickets in the second ODI. West Indies batting collapse in the second ODI, which resulted in just 108 runs for the Caribbean team, was first set off by Bangladesh. and after only losing one wicket, reached the necessary runs in just the 21st over.

West Indies have held to a modest goal thanks to some outstanding bowling from visitors Bangladesh. Following his four wickets, Mehidy Hasan excelled with the ball.

To win a sixth straight bilateral series, the visitors won the two one-day international matches by scores of six and nine wickets.
On Saturday at the same Providence Stadium, the last ODI and tour game will take place.
For the 11th match in a row dating back to late 2018, Bangladesh will be favored to defeat the West Indies.

The toss was won by Bangladesh, who chose to field first. The Caribbean team struggled despite a cautious beginning. However, Bangladesh gradually re-entered the match and proceeded to devastate the West Indies starting lineup. In the end, the hosts gave up at 108 after collapsing like a pack of cards. For the visitors, Mehidy Hasan was brilliant with the ball, taking 4 wickets.

Bangladesh also got off to a cautious start but played effectively in their innings. As he led his team to win, captain Tamim Iqbal continued to go undefeated at 47. Together they had 32 points, and Litton Das was still unblemished. For the series victory, the hosts promptly won the game in 20 overs.

Bangladesh will receive a tremendous lift from both the victory and the manner in which it was achieved as they enter the second game on Wednesday with momentum. A victory would give them an unbeatable 2-0 series lead, which is significant in the context of the ICC ODI Super League.

The Men in Maroon continued to struggle in the 50-over format, making it a total batting disaster for West Indies. To continue in the series, the hosts will need to pool their resources and win. In the past two years, West Indies has steadily dropped in the ODI rankings, and a series loss to Bangladesh at home would be a new low for the defending champions.
