Sydney Thunders humiliated; Strikers shock the world with the best bowling performance in BBL History

B 5th Match Highlights

THU vs STR: The Adelaide Strikers’ effort completely outclassed Sydney Thunder, who were eventually bowled out for 15. Adelaide Strikers beat Thunders by 124 runs.

The lowest total in senior T20 cricket has been reached by Sydney Thunder, who were bowled out during the powerplay. As they each end up with five and four wickets, respectively, Thornton and West Agar have bowled outstanding performances.

THU vs STR: Shocking Performance from both Strikers and Thunders

The Sydney Thunder put up a shocking performance. Thornton and Agar destroyed them after losing a couple of early wickets as a result of some excellent fielding by the Thunder fielders.

The Thunder batters had no answers for the new ball, and Nielsen finished with five catches. The Thunder will find it very challenging to recover from such an embarrassing setback.

THU vs STR: Thunders’ poor Batting results

Fans are devasted by the batting performance of Thunders as they crumbled under the hands of Strikers. They have very less targets to chase down (140), but they made it complicated. A total of 5 players were dismissed for a duck and no player scored more than five runs.

It was a devastating performance, Alex Hales, Matthew Gilkes, Jason Sangha, Chris Green, and Gurinder Sandhu all these five players were dismissed for a duck.

THU vs STR: Wonderful Bowling spells by Strikers

Rashid Khan, a key bowler for the Strikers, was unable to bowl as the Thunder were dismissed for just 15, the lowest score in international T20 history after only 35 deliveries.

Henry Thornton was the standout player who made sure that Thunder’s Batsman was unable to score runs and made life difficult for them to stay on the pitch. He picked up a magnificent spell of five wickets and decided only 3 runs were by far the best bowling in the world of T20 cricket.

On the other hand, Wes Agar picked up four wickets to ensure that Thunders were struggling to score runs. He gave good support to his partner Henry who picked up five wickets. Both of them together cleaned up the batting lineup Thunders.

THU vs STR: What’s next?

Sydney Thunder will face off against Melbourne Renegades in their next match, which is scheduled for 18th December (Sunday). While Strikers will have a couple of days off and will face Sydney Thunder in the reverse fixture on 20th December (Tuesday)
