Biography of Shadab Khan
Shadab Khan Biography: Shadab Khan was born in Mianwali, Punjab, Pakistan on 4 October 1998. Shadab Khan is a Pakistani right-arm leg-break bowler who has been a consistent member of the Pakistan squad for the past 4 years. Shadab is also an effective and attacking lower-order batting option for Pakistan. Presently, Shadab Khan is the vice-captain of the Pakistan limited overs format squad for both ODIs and T20Is. Shadab has also captained Pakistan in T20Is back in 2020 in a series against New Zealand to fill in for the regular captain Babar Azam. Khan plays for Northern in the domestic circuit of Pakistan. Shadab Khan has been a part of many T20 leagues all over the world including Big Bash League, Caribbean Premier League and T20 blast as well.
Shadab Khan Early Life and Education
Shadab Khan started off playing cricket at the age of around 7-8 years. Since the very beginning, Shadab wanted to be a cricketer and practiced on the rough pitches in the farm at the banks of Indus river in Punjab. He nurtured his bowling skills with the help of his elder brother. Shadab moved to Rawalpindi at the age of just 14 years and started off playing cricket at the club. His dedication for cricket helped him in earning a place in the domestic circuit.

Shadab Khan was included in the Under-19 squad of Pakistan back in 2016 for the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup and Shadab ended us as the highest
wicket taker of the tournament. After the tournament, Shadab Khan got a maiden call up from domestic side Islamabad for the Pakistan Cup back in 2016.
In the same year, Shadab Khan made his T20 debut for the Rawalpindi squad in the National Cup of T20s.
In 2017, Shadab Khan was roped in by Trinbago Knight Riders- to play in the Caribbean Premier League and then also took part in Big Bash League with the Brisbane Heat franchise. Shadab Khan played for Sydney Sixers in Big Bash League for the 2021 season.
Shadab Khan was appointed as the captain of Islamabad United in 2022 Pakistan Super League tournament.
Shadab Khan was also roped in by Yorkshire for the T20 Blast tournament in England in 2022.

Shadab Khan made his International debut in a T20I match against West Indies at the age of just 19 years and bagged 2 wickets on debut. Shadab Khan won Player of the series award in his maiden T20I series.
Shadab made his ODI debut in the same series against West Indies and picked 2 wickets on debut on 7th April 2022.
On the same tour, Shadab Khan made his test debut as well. However, he didn’t perform well in the test series.
Shadab Khan was then picked up in the Pakistan squad for the Champions trophy in 2017 and played a crucial role in helping his team in winning the title by beating India in the finals.
In October, Shadab Khan smashed his maiden half century in the ODIs and helped his team in putting up a decent total.
