PAK vs NZ 1st test update:

There were a few late wickets for Pakistan on day 3, and as a result, they prevented New Zealand from gaining advantage in the match. Kane Williamson and Tom Blundell successfully handled everything for the majority of the final session, forming a 90-run alliance. During his stay, Blundell led a risky lifestyle but ultimately fell three short of 50.

It wouldn’t be inaccurate to say that both teams owned Day 3! They split the honour equally. In the morning session, Pakistan was impressive in that they got rid of both of the openers and maintained tight control by only giving up 80 runs. Despite feeling the pressure, New Zealand never let Pakistan gain momentum of the game by a wide margin. With the exception of one instance, there was always a partnership when a wicket fell, with Kane Williamson serving as the foundation. He threaded many stands and completed his 25th Test hundred. Daryl Mitchell’s excellent knock in the afternoon session, when the hosts intended to dominate, proved to be crucial because his upbeat demeanour shifted the momentum back in New Zealand’s favour.
