Kane Williamson will be missing the series against Scotland, Ireland, and the Netherlands

Kane Williamson will be unavailable for the series against Scotland, Ireland, and the Netherlands. Kane Williamson and a number of other veteran players were left out of New Zealand’s limited-overs team named on Tuesday for their upcoming series against Ireland, Scotland, and the Netherlands.

Mitch Santner, the spinner, will then skipper the team for three Twenty20 Internationals against Ireland in Belfast, three more against Scotland in Edinburgh, and two against the Netherlands in The Hague in early August.

Kane Williamson and many other experienced players were left out of New Zealand’s limited-overs team named on Tuesday for their upcoming series against Ireland, Scotland, and the Netherlands. From July 10 to 14, batsman Tom Latham will captain the Black Caps in three one-day internationals against Ireland in Dublin.

All four played in the Indian Premier League, which ended in late May, and are currently in England for a three-match Test series.

They’ll return home after the third Test against Leeds, which begins on Thursday, and their next call-up is expected to be for a limited-overs tour to the West Indies in August.

Shane Jurgensen will take over as head coach in Ireland for a scheduled break, but he and five other players will return for the duration of the tour.

Michael Rippon, a 30-year-old left-arm wrist spinner from South Africa who moved to New Zealand five years ago, is one of those who will join later.

New Zealand’s white-ball team for a trip to Ireland, Scotland, and the Netherlands is as follows:

Tom Latham (c), Finn Allen, Michael Bracewell, Dane Cleaver, Jacob Duffy, Lockie Ferguson, Martin Guptill, Matt Henry, Adam Milne, Henry Nicholls, Glenn Phillips, Mitchell Santner, Ish Sodhi, Blair Tickner, Will Young

Mark Chapman, Daryl Mitchell, Jimmy Neesham, Michael Rippon, and Ben Sears will join after the Ireland matches.
