India Vs England 3rd T20:

After beating England in the first two T-20s by 50 and 49 runs, respectively, the mighty Indian side will be looking to make the most out the 3-match series by winning the final match on Sunday at the Trent Bridge in Nottingham.

Earlier, the Indian side defeated Ireland by 2-0 and beat the county clubs of England in two consecutive games to boast their confidence.

India dominated all departments in both the games all will try to maintain the momentum by winning the third match.

England has a strong team as well. They have plenty of dependable players on their squad who can turn the game in their teams’ favour. However, facing off against the best team in the world will be a difficult question for them to resolve.

Team Combinations

India tried a new opening combination in second T20 with Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant. Both did good job help India cross 50 mark within the powerplay overs.

Virat Kohli, who failed to create any mark in the second game by scoring just 1 run will try to score as many runs as possible to boost his confidence. Suryakumar Yadav will be a good option to use at no.4, while Hardik Pandya will be a sound choice for no.5. Dinesh Karthik is the perfect wicket-keeper batter and Ravindra Jadeja will be an ideal all-rounder to be included in the team.

Jasprit Kumar, along with Bhuvneshwar Kumar, will be the leader of the Indian fast bowling unit, and Yuzvendra Chahal will be the best spinner to employ in the conditions in England.

The opening pair for England will be Jason Roy and captain Jos Buttler. Dawid Malan will bat at No. 3, then Liam Livingstone and Harry Brook make up a potent middle order. While the all-rounders George Moeen Ali and Sam Curran will handle the challenging overs if given the chance.

Richard Gleeson, who dismissed Rohit, Pant and Kohli in the second T20 will a tough bowler to face in initial overs for India. While, Chris Jordan and Matthew Parkinson will be a handy options for England against Inida.

Players to watch out for

The biggest thread for the English side in the second T20 would be the opening pair of Rohit and Pant.

India’s dependable batter Virat Kohli, who is searching for form, is ready to roar to regain the confidence. While the dangerous finishers Hardik Pandya and Dinesh Karthik can give headache to England in the 3rd T20.

Jason Roy, the skipper Jos Buttler, and Moeen Ali are the strongest players in England side.

After the completion of 3-match T20 series, both sides will lock horns in the 3-match ODI series, starting July 12.
