Jason Jonathan Roy was born, famously known as Jason Roy was born in Durban, South Africa on 21 July 1990. Roy is an English right-hand batter who plays for England in the limited-overs format. At the age of 18 years in 2008, Jason Roy made his List A debut for Surrey in a T20 match against Yorkshire.

Roy also came out as a substitute for England in the field in a test match against South Africa.
