Haris Rauf Biography: Haris Rauf is a Pakistani cricketer who was born in Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan on 7 November 1993. Haris Rauf is a right-arm fast bowler who has been a consistent member Pakistan limited overs squad for almost 2 years. Haris Rauf is yet to make his Test debut for the national side.
Haris Rauf Biography, Early Life and Education
Haris Rauf started off playing cricket at the age of 11 years. Before cricket, Haris was more into football than cricket. Haris even helped his school team in winning many football tournaments. However, his interest started to develop in cricket and at the age of 11 years he joined his school cricket team and started off as a bowler. During his time at International Islamic University in Islamabad, Haris joined the college cricket team and developed his skills. His coaches asked him to visit Lahore for the Lahore Qalandars trials to get a chance in the domestic team back in 2017.

At the age of 23 years, Haris Rauf was picked up in the squad of Lahore Qalandars to play in the Abu Dhabi T20 Tournament and made his T20 debut in the tournament.
2 years later in 2019, Haris Rauf was picked up in the squad of Baluchistan for the Pakistan Cup and made his List A debut in a match against Islamabad. Haris also made his place in the team of Northerns in the Quaid-e-Azam back in 2019.
In October, Haris Rauf was picked up in the National Cup and was also named as one of the six players to watch out for by the PCB.
In 2020, Haris Rauf was roped in by the Melbourne Stars for the BBL season as a replacement for the star pacer Dale Steyn. Haris impressed everyone with his skills in the second match of his career in BBL as he took 5 wickets in the match. In January 2020, Haris Rauf picked his first hat trick in the BBL against Sydney Thunders.
Haris Rauf was then roped in by the Yorkshire County Club for the English domestic season for year 2022.

In June 2020, Haris Rauf tested positive of covid and left out of the England series. Along with Haris, many Pakistan player missed out the series due to Covid.

In 2021, Haris Rauf was also included in the Test squad for the series against New Zealand and South Africa. However, he was not picked up in the playing-11. Haris Rauf was then included in the Pakistan squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in 2021 and showed his skills in the 2nd match of the tournament by picking 4 wickets against New Zealand.
In February, Haris Rauf was also picked up in the Test squad for Australia series but warmed the bench for the whole series.
