Pakistani Off-spinner Saeed Ajmal turns 45 today

Happy Birthday Saeed Ajmal

Saeed Ajmal was born on October 14, 1977. He is a Pakistani cricket coach and a former player who participated in all facets of the sport. He bowls off-spin with his right arm and bats right-handed. At the local level, he represented Faisalabad in Pakistan.

One of Pakistan’s most important spin bowlers in the past few years has been Saeed Ajmal, a late bloomer who came into his own. Ajmal is one of the top spinners in the nation with a captivating doosra and a large heart. He has also proven his mettle on the international scene during his time as a cricketer.

Debut Match

At the age of 30, Ajmal made his Pakistan One Day International debut in July 2008 and played his maiden Test a year later. After being pardoned, he played a key role for Pakistan in winning the 2009 ICC World Twenty20.

Ajmal’s Records

Ajmal became the fastest Pakistani to record 100 Test wickets on January 28, 2012, in his 20th match. Before Shahid Afridi surpassed him with 101 wickets, he held the Twenty20 International cricket record for most wickets taken 85 wickets. In Australia’s 2012 Big Bash League, Adelaide Strikers acquired his services.

Reliable Off-spinner

However, his winning streak began in 2011, when he displayed excellent control with all of his off-spinner variations. It is significantly more difficult for batsmen to predict Ajmal’s variations since, in contrast to many off-spinners, he frequently bowls the doosra from the same line on or just outside off.

With 50 wickets in eight Test matches, he had the most in 2011. However, his best series to date was when, in the first three games of the 2012 season, he completely dismantled the England batting order, the best in the world, taking 24 wickets at an average of 14.70. In the process, he decisively defeated highly regarded Graeme Swann in a match of off-spinners.

Bowling Controversy

On September 9, 2014, the International Cricket Council banned Ajmal for his bowling technique. Saeed Ajmal, a Pakistani off-spinner, had prohibited from bowling in international cricket with immediate effect after an independent examination determined that his bowling motion was improper. All of his deliveries surpassed the 15 degrees of tolerance allowed by the regulations, according to the research.

Birthday Wishes

Happy birthday to Saeed Ajmal and best wishes for a wonderful day. Let’s wish him luck in the future and send him our best wishes.
