Can Sri Lanka Bounce Back?

Sri Lanka now has to defeat Afghanistan in Pallekele on Wednesday, they can gain a key 10 points and tie the current series. This game now appears to be crucial for both sides.

But ultimately, it was the weather that decided. The best Sri Lanka can currently hope for is a draw in the series despite being well-positioned to make a comeback. Additionally, because they will only receive five Super League points from this game. Their chances of securing automatic qualification for the World Cup the following year are severely diminished.
