First Innings Update: After the completion of 20 overs of the 2nd match of WPL 2023, Delhi Capitals’ total is 223. In the first innings, Delhi Capitals managed to score 223 runs for the loss of 2 wickets.
In the first 10 overs, Shafali Verma and Meg Lanning utilized the opportunity, scoring more than 56 runs. The batting team managed to hit a lot of boundaries.

After winning the toss RCB decided to bowl first, and in came the Delhi players Shafali Verma and Meg Lanning started the campaign for the Delhi team in an impressive fashion. Ausis skipper Meg Lanning and Shafali Verma were the star player of the match hands down. Both of them played some impressive strokes to reach their fifties. Shafali scored her first fifty in WPL and finished her knock with 84 runs from 45 balls. Shafali smashed 10 fours and 4 sixes.
On the other hand, Meg Lanning has struck 14 fours to finish her innings with a score of 72 runs from 43 balls. She was the key player for Delhi in posting a huge total. She will key for Delhi leading up to the later stages of the tournament.

A total of seven bowlers were used by Bangalore in order to stop Delhi from scoring runs. In the end, Heather Knight pulls off two wickets in the 15th over to pull the strings back in the favour of the RCB Women.
