Women’s Caribbean Premier League 2023

The stage is set for the 2023 edition of the Women’s Caribbean Premier League, starting August 31. 

The Women’s Caribbean Premier League is going to be an eight-team competition and a total of 60 matches will be played in the tournament over the course of 11 days. 

Three venues will host the tournament. The three venues are Brian Lara Stadium, Tarouba, Queen’s Park Oval, Trinidad, and Kensington Oval in barbados. 

The 2022 edition of Women’s Caribbean Premier League was won by Trinbago Knight Riders team when they defeated the Barbados by 10 runs.  

How many teams are participating in Women’s Caribbean Premier League? 

Three teams, Barbados Royals women, Guyana Amazon Warriors women and Trinbago Knight Riders women, are taking part in the Caribbean Premier League 2023. 

What is the format of Women’s Caribbean Premier League?  

The Caribbean Premier League tournament will be played in a double round-robin format, meaning all teams will face each other twice in the league 

The top two teams after six games will play the finals on September 11 at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba.
