With all cricket canceled, cricketers are spending time off the field. Some players are engaging in social media through a question-and-answer session with their fans. Others are using Instagram live sessions with other famous stars. Indian cricketers who spend a lot of time in travel and training spend their time at home. There is no proper idea when cricket will resume. Due to the global pandemic, the IPL has now postponed indefinitely.

Hanuma Vihari uploads an adorable video with his pet

Hanuma Vihari uploaded four videos on Instagram. In those videos, he can be seen playing cricket with his dog. He can also be seen throwing the ball and giving his dog some catches. Each of those catches is made by the dog. Vihari admired the catches his dog made. He tagged Indian fielding coach R Sridhar and asked him how the effort was.

“Catching session for the dog, 1. Started with some warm-up catches. 2. Shut down on the leg side, holding that low position. 3. Close off offside, great. How much do you rate him for this effort? @coach_rsridhar,” the post’s title read.

Hanuma Vihari made his Test debut for India in the 2018 Oval Test against England in London. Hyderabad’s right-handed batsman is a run-scorer in domestic cricket. In 85 first-class matches, Vihari scored 6860 runs in 58 matches. His only Test century came against the West Indies in Jamaica last year.

Vihari had scored 552 runs in his nine Tests so far. Everyone first saw the batsman during the 2012 U19 Cricket World Cup. He was part of the 2012 World Cup-winning U19 team. Unfortunately, he was released this year after representing the Delhi Capitals in the IPL last year. He didn’t get a buyer at this year’s auction.
