Brad Hogg: Hardik Pandya “Can’t Challenge” Ben Stokes

Former Australia spinner Brad Hogg took to Twitter to reveal:

On Tuesday (24-03-2020), the former Australian spinner Brad Hogg took to Twitter and said that as an all-rounder Hardik Pandya can’t challenge former English international cricketer, Ben Stokes.

The Australian cricketer, Brad Hogg replied to a fan’s question of asking for views on the best all-rounder in between Ben Stokes and Hardik Pandya. For this, the 46 years old Hogg explained that although the outstanding Indian all-rounder, Hardik Pandya has a huge capacity due to his lack of experience in playing in international cricket, he will choose Ben Stokes.

Bradd Hogg tweeted “I have to go with the current vice-captain of the England Test team, Ben Stokes on this one. Pandya has extreme potential, but he hasn’t that much international cricket experience to challenge Ben Stokes as the all-rounder of my World XI”.

The 26 years old Hardik Pandya has been compared with numerous all-rounders from current and past ever since he made his tremendous international debut in the year 2016 against Australia.

After recovering from a serious back injury, Pandya made a fantastic come back to the team India after a long gap of five months.

For the One-Day International (ODI) series against South Africa, Hardik Pandya was named in the 15-man team of India. The first ODI was washed out because of rain in Dharamsala while the other matches of the series were called off due to COVID19.

The COVID-19 outbreak has led to numerous sporting events being either postponed or cancelled.

On 13th March, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) delayed the 13th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) till 15th April.

Other important sporting events such as UEFA Champions League, ATP tournaments and Euro Cup are also delayed as a precautionary measure to fight against coronavirus.
