Bhuvneshwar Kumar Gives A Savage Reply To David Warner

As the whole world went into lockdown, there were no sporting events for the most part. The now full-fledged Indian Premier League 2020 has postponed. Not sure if the tournament will be played this year or not.

Since there is no IPL, the Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise has decided to engage their fans in different ways. Sunrisers captain David Warner kicks off a show at Warner Corner, where he invites and interviews one of the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) players. The show hosted by the official Instagram handle of the David Warner franchise. In this, he invites a player to join him in a live chat session, and the two interact with each other.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar was a guest on Warner’s corner

During one of the episodes Warner’s corner, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was a guest. During their interaction, Warner asked him a question one of the fans gave her. Warner asked, “If you were bowling with me in the final over of the ICC T20 World Cup final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and we needed four runs from the final delivery, what would you bowl to me?”

Bhubaneswar said, “I don’t think I’ve bowled in the last over because I will get you out in the first over.” Warner started laughing after hearing his answer, and the two players later joked. The clip of their interaction was uploaded by Sunrisers Hyderabad’s official Twitter handle.

Bhubaneswar Kumar and David Warner share a great friendship with one another. Both players have been playing for the franchise since 2014. Kumar was the franchise’s vice-captain last season. Regular captain Kane Williamson was injured and missed the playoffs. After not leading the franchise in the 2019 season, Warner is set to captain the IPL 2020 again.
