Will Suryakumar play for MI against DC on Sunday?
Mumbai Indians have faced one the worst starts to their season campaign after losing 3 out of their 3 games in IPL 2024.
Sitting in last spot on the points table, MI is missing their main power-hitter, Suryakumar Yadav, who missed the action due to sports hernia surgery.
However, NCA (National Cricket Academy) has declared Suryakumar fit to play, and destructive batter will join the team on April 5.
Mumbai will next play against Delhi Capitals on April 7 afternoon, and the management will take a call on SKY’s presence in the playing 11 for Sunday’s game after seeing his progress during the net session.

SKY has played 85 games for MI out of his 139 overall IPL games and has a strike-rate of 146.2. After starting his IPL journey with MI in 2011, the right-handed batter moved to KKR in 2014 where he played 4 seasons before coming back to Mumbai Indians, where he made massive strides and became an important asset to the team.
Mumbai badly missed their hard-hitting batter’s services this season so far. MI lost their first game by 6 runs while chasing due to lack of power-hitting against quality bowling.
