Heartbroken or Angry: Why MS Dhoni Skips Handshakes with RCB Players

Why MS Dhoni Skips Handshakes

Why MS Dhoni Skips Handshakes with RCB Players: The playoffs dreams of Chennai Super Kings were crushed after a thrilling defeat against RCB in the 68th group stage fixture of the TATA IPL 2024. When the RCB players finished their celebration and shook hands with the CSK players, Dhoni, who hasn’t been totally fit the whole season, was in front of the line.

But after a little period, Dhoni made the decision to head back to the dressing room. The Thala shook hands with a few bench players and members of the RCB support staff on his way back. Following the Chennai Super Kings’ inability to make the playoffs, this is what transpired after the game. Although it’s unclear if Dhoni and the RCB players shook hands afterward, as of now it seems like he was upset, or maybe there could be something else that we don’t know.

When skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad went hunting for a golden duck, the pursuit started with heartache for CSK. Even with the best efforts of Ajinkya Rahane and Rachin Ravindra, CSK could not remain afloat. Despite a fierce final stand from MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja, the RCB bowlers kept their cool to win by 27 runs.
