Australian all-rounder Nicola Carey supports the call to try lighter and smaller balls in the women’s cricket which could increase power-hitting and also help to enhance attractiveness. Earlier this week, Jemimah Rodrigues, an Indian batswoman and Sophie Devine, captain of New Zealand team had recommended ways including smaller balls, shorter pitches to increase the attractiveness of women’s cricket at the webinar of ‘ICC 100% innovation’.
