England pacer Stuart Broad has confirmed that Shane Warne encouraged him to develop his batting in Tests. His comments came as Broad shattered Test cricket for England’s joint third-fastest fifty. Broad went on to play a knock of 62 runs in the first innings of the third Test played at Old Trafford in Manchester against the West Indies. “Tactically it was the best thing to do and something that I worked on at Nottinghamshire with Peter Moores. He gave me the Shane Warne example,” Broad said.
