Steve Waugh who has been playing international cricket for Australia for over a decade, was born on June 2, 1965, at Canterbury Hospital in Campsie — a suburb in South-Western Sydney. Steve, who is considered one of the greatest all-time captains, first joined International cricket making his debut at the MCG against India in 1985. A year later he was joined into the national ODI squad.
