Perth Scorchers skipper Sophie Devine was named as the player of Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) 2020. Sophie played a major role in guiding Perth Scorchers into the WBBL|06 finals. In her first season, Sophie Devine has complied a total of 448 runs with an amazing average of 56 which includes a century and three half-centuries. Devine polled 31 votes ahead of Melbourne Stars’ captain Meg Lanning and Sydney Thunders’ all-rounder Heather Knight.
