Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has been testing positively for COVID-19. The 40-year-old on Twitter shared the news, and asked fans to pray for him. “Since Thursday, I’ve been feeling unwell; my body has been hurting terribly. I’ve been checked and, sadly, I’m covid positive.Afridi is Pakistan ‘s second international cricketer to test positive for COVID-19. Former Pakistan opener Taufeeq Umar recently also tested COVID-19 positive. He is already recovering from the illness. Former first-class player Zafar Sarfraz was the first professional player to die as a result of the deadly virus.
