South Africa pacer Shabnim Ismail has put pen to paper and signed another contract for the upcoming Women’s Big Bash League season with Sydney Thunder. The experienced fast bowler comes as a much-needed addition to the side after Aussie ‘s quick Rene Farrell announced retirement after last season, bowing down with the tournament’s third-best tally wickets in history. In the 2019 edition of the tournament, Ismail picked only 10 wickets but did so at a stingy economy rate of 5.88-only improved by Megan Schutt (5.60) among the bowlers who picked 10 wickets or more.
