Sangakkara Asked To Give Statement In Sri Lanka’s 2011 WC Survey

Kumar Sangakkara, former Sri Lanka skipper has been asked to give his statement before the special investigation team of the Sports Ministry claiming that the 2011 World Cup Final defeat from India was fixed. Last month sports ministry of Sri Lanka ordered an inquiry into an allegation of former sports minister, Mahindananda Aluthgamage that in 2011 World Cup, the loss of Sri Lanka from India was fixed by some parties. At that time Sangakkara was doing captaincy of the Sri Lanka team.
