Sam Billings Desired To Enter Into The Test Format

Sam Billings, the wicketkeeper-batsman of England said now he doesn’t want to be “pigeon-holed as only a white-ball player” and desired to enter into the Test format. This goal took a backseat when he wanted to play IPL early. Sam Billings never played a Test match for the England team but played 15 ODIs and 26 T20Is. A shoulder injury restricted him to be a part of the historic victory of the last year’s World Cup. Billings said “ I have back seated the Test cricket at that point and didn’t play anywhere near cricket. That’s where my point of view has changed”.
