Saliva Ban To Improve The Skills Of Bowlers : Joe Root

Captain Joe Root of England feels the ban on using saliva to shine the ball to combat the threat of Coronavirus could improve the skills of the bowlers who will have to work harder to get some purchase out of the pitch. Root said it could “work for and up skill levels in our favor.” The ICC cricket committee headed by Anil Kumble has proposed banning the use of saliva to shine the ball when play begins again. The ICC has also forbidden cricket resumption activity in its guidelines.
