Ponting has teamed up with Indian spinner Ravi Ashwin, the main supporter of the “Mankad” in the Delhi Capitals Indian Premier League. Before arriving in India, Ponting said he was going to have a “poor talk” with Ashwin about his firm stance, with the spinner running out of England’s Jos Buttler last season as he crept up the pitch.
