Pollard Helps Knight Riders To Register Their Sixth Straight Win

🕒 4 min read

Kieron Pollard broke a blister of 28-ball 72 to propel Trinbago Knight Riders to a thrilling two-way victory over Barbados Tridents, while Jamaica Tallawahs outperformed St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots by 37 runs in the Hero Caribbean Premier League. Sent to bat, Tridents lost Shai Hope (4) early, but Johnson Charles (47) and Kyle Mayers (42) showed a lot of courage to help the team post 148 for 7. In response, the Knight Riders battled at 62 for 5 but Pollard hit nine sixes and two fours in his 72 out of 28 balls to take the team home.
